Tip # 1 for Surviving Your 20s

You've probably heard people say "if you're not happy with yourself, you're not going to be happy with anyone/anything else." There is definitely some truth with that.

A sense of self... self confidence, self esteem, self worth, self love or lack there of will determine your thoughts and feelings when you look in the mirror, how you approach the world, interact with people, set goals and reach your potential & purpose.

When you have a healthy relationship with yourself, you'll be more secure, comfortable and focused. You will live with greater confidence and less stress.

When you don't have a healthy relationship with yourself, you'll be more stressed and insecure and less confident. This stress and insecurity will drive your behavior; distracting you from healthy relationships, esteem to achieve and your potential.

Whatever your past is and wherever you are on your journey, make a healthy relationship with yourself a priority.

  • Be grateful for what you have

  • Don't be afraid to admit your weaknesses

  • Growth can be uncomfortable, don't be afraid of that either

  • Surround yourself with people and resources that support you

  • Don't settle for less than you deserve

  • Keep moving forward

This doesn't get any easier as you get older. Figure it out now to build a healthy foundation that will serve you the rest of your life.
