As a member of the Merit Resources team and in partnership with the Des Moines Business Record, we conducted the Central Iowa Leadership Study.

How Did It Work?

​

We identified 36 individuals in Central Iowa with diverse experiences and careers, who had been recognized as emerging or established leaders within our community. The 36 individuals broke down like so:

​

  • Five women, ages 25 - 34

  • Five men, ages 25 - 34

  • Five women, ages 35 - 44

  • Five men, ages 35 - 44

  • Five women, ages 45 - 54

  • Five men, ages 45 - 54

  • Three women, ages 55+

  • Three men, ages 55 +

​

We gave all 36 leaders the ProfileXT - Total Person assessment that measures how a person thinks, reasons, behaves and how they are motivated. Once all 36 leaders completed the ProfileXT, we ran all 36 individual results through our system to create a single profile for how Central Iowa leaders think, reason, behave and how they are motivated.
