Last week I was in Dallas, Texas facilitating training for 19 leaders and managers called:
NAVIGATING BEYOND CONFLICT
Conflict is common in the workplace. You are never going to eliminate it, so the goal has to be to manage it. There is good conflict and bad conflict. Conflict that leads to discovery and creative problem solving and conflict that leads to damaged relationships that hurt collaboration and productivity. During this training we talked about trying to change our attitude where we see conflict as discovery rather than damage and regardless of good or bad conflict, we manage it and lead people and situations to productive conversations and solutions.
